Cloud providers fail, and when they do, billions in SLA credits go unclaimed because the claims process is opaque and manual. Next Signal monitors major cloud vendors, detects disruptions in real time, and automatically manages the claims process so customers recover what they're owed without adding operational overhead.
We're a small, technical team building something genuinely new. This is the kind of company you'll want to have been at from the start.
The Role
As Social Media Manager, you will shape and amplify Next Signal's voice on the internet. You'll work closely with the founders to keep our channels authentic, bold, and engaging. This isn't a scheduling and reporting role. We need someone who generates original ideas, moves fast, and can point to real numbers that prove it worked.
What This Role Is Not
This role is not for someone who outsources their creative instincts to trends or templates. It is not for someone who needs a full production team to ship content. If you are most comfortable planning far in advance and waiting for approval on every post, this will feel misaligned.
What You'll Do
- Own Next Signal's LinkedIn, Reddit, and X channels end to end: strategy, content, publishing, and growth
- Build and execute a content calendar that reaches founders, engineers, and operators who care about cloud reliability
- Get in front of and behind a camera; you are comfortable producing short-form video, clips, and founder-adjacent content with minimal support
- Lead our podcast efforts: format development, guest outreach, production, and distribution
- Help package product launches for social in a way that drives real attention, not just impressions
- Run platform-specific experiments: influencer collaborations, customer and employee amplification, coordinated pushes, and anything else you think will work
- Find ways to monetize and convert audience into pipeline
- Evolve the social motion as we grow and establish the playbook others will eventually follow
What You Bring
- 3 or more years of social media experience with a track record you can show: follower growth, engagement rates, content that broke through, and audience that converted
- Comfortable on camera and behind it; you have produced video content and you ship quickly without getting hung up on making it perfect
- Experience with podcasting: you have helped build or run one and understand what makes people actually listen
- Strong point of view on what works on LinkedIn, Reddit, and X for B2B technical audiences
- Creative ideas that are distinctly yours, not recycled from what you saw someone else do last week
- Ability to write clearly and with personality; you can make a technical topic interesting to someone who didn't know they cared
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment where you had to figure things out without a playbook
- Data-driven; you know which metrics matter and you can connect content performance to business outcomes
